Mr Indiren Nowzadick works in the Mauritius Police Force. He is an elected executive member of the Mauritius Tamil Temples Federation representing the district of Upper Plaines Wilhems for the year 2017 – 2019 and occupies the portfolio of Events at the Federation. It is actually his second mandate. Indiren is also the Vice – Chairman of the Mauritius Tamil Cultural Centre Trust appointed by the Ministry of Arts & Culture. He has been an active social worker for the last 18 years.
He is also the President of the Henrietta Tamize Kazhagham and member of the Vacoas – Phoenix Tamil Federation. He had been the president of the Vacoas – Phoenix Tamil Federation from the year 2015 to 2016. His objective for being a member of the Federation is to promote unity and co-ordinate events, acts, ventures, projects and activities in order to propagate and preserve the Tamil language, traditions, culture and rich heritage.He will also assist in improving the quality of life and empowering the Tamil community of Mauritius in matters relevant to the moral, spiritual, educational, social welfare and economic upliftment of Tamilians.
